Elon Musk is now making another controversial decision regarding his Twitter employees.
The billionaire's latest email message to the remaining Twitter staff states that they should work long hours.
As of writing, the platform's new CEO and sole director is being criticized by many people because of his ongoing mass layoffs on Twitter.
Now, the tech boss wants Twitter employees to spend more time on their work at high intensity.

"Going forward, to build a breakthrough Twitter 2.0 and succeed in an increasingly competitive world, we will need to be extremely hardcore," said the billionaire.
He added that employees are required to work long hours at high intensity, saying that only exceptional performance will be considered a passing grade.
Musk also mentioned what would happen to those who are non-compliant. In the email message, Elon said that employees who want to become a part of the "new Twitter" should click the Yes button or the provided link.
Staff who are not able to provide their decision on Nov. 17, at 5:00 pm ET, will be provided with three months of severance.
Since the Twitter CEO mentioned the severance package, this means that non-compliant staff will be terminated.
Twitter Staff Terminated Over Tweet
Elon Musk is really not the usual billionaire boss that people know.
Unlike other CEOs who don't publicly share their personal decisions, Musk does the exact opposite.
Recently, Engadget reported that a Twitter staff was terminated after he fact-checked the billionaire.
They had a long conversation in a viral Twitter thread. Since Musk didn't like his responses, he ended the thread, which is already deleted, by saying that the staff had been fired.
The termination of Twitter employees is not the only problem faced by the social media company.
Recently, experts claimed that Twitter's bankruptcy could happen as early as 2023.
Meanwhile, some enthusiasts believed that the Twitter Blue subscription service was not launched by the platform.
