"Humankind" announced via its Twitter page that it is delaying the game's release for the PlayStation and Xbox console versions of the famed "touch-focused" game. According to its recent blog post, Amplitude encountered problems with its development of the title, hence the delay in the console availability.

It means that gamers of PlayStation 4 and 5, as well as Xbox One and Xbox Series S and X, would have to wait further for the game's actual release from its developers.

Gamers who already preordered the game from the PlayStation Store and Microsoft's Xbox Store already reflect that the game's release date is unknown, and would have to wait for further announcements.

Fans are Not Happy with 'Humankind's' Delay

Twitter users are not happy with "Humankind's" console delay, especially since the company initially revealed the game's release to the public. A user who replied to the announcement was furious that the company broke its word and is releasing at a later date for the game.

"Humankind's" Twitter account said that this delay was unpredictable, especially with the elements they did not expect to have a hard time integrating from PC to console to complete the game experience.

'Humankind' and its Stadia Availability

"Humankind" is a 2021 released video game from Amplitude Studios, Aspyr Media, and SEGA which was available to gamers via the PC platform on both Windows and Mac OS. The game is also famous for its Google Stadia integration, with the experience available for famous online cloud-based experience from the company.

The game is famous for its "touch-focused" experience, where its controls are relying on touch-based commands from controller pads, well-versed in the touchscreen.

The developers have gone through several changes for the game, one of which is removing its security partner, Denuvo, last year before the game was released to the public. The reason for its partner's removal is because of integration issues that might be a problem in the long run for the title, especially with what it has to offer.

Still, despite its PC release last year, its developers and publishers saw a massive problem with its console integration now, hence the indefinite delay for the game. Gamers who already pre-ordered their copies via PlayStation and Xbox would have to wait more before getting the game, with no guarantees of its next release period.
