Mercedes-Benz has revealed more details about its upcoming EQE SUV and Mercedes-AMG EQE SUV, according to Electrek.
EQE SUV
In August, the automaker first revealed a first glimpse of the interior of the EQE SUV. In three different press releases, the company shared more details about its upcoming SUV.
The press release states that the EQE SUV will be more compact compared to its sedan counterpart. But rest assured, the EQE SUV will be more spacious inside. It has an estimated WLTP of over 550 km for European versions as well.
The company also added a customer-centric technical innovation to the imposing screen band that will let the passenger watch TV without distracting the driver.
Moreover, the lithium-ion battery of the vehicle comes with ten modules, while its management software will allow for over-the-air (OTA) updates that will keep the energy management up-to-date.
The EQE SUV will be available in single-motor RWD or dual-motor AWD. It is plug and charge capable and comes with a standard heat pump. Consumers can also add a DIGITAL LIGHT.

EQE-AMG
The EQE-AMG is the high-performance version of the EQE SUV that will have a unique look. This will also be the first SUV as part of its EQ line of electric vehicles. Mercedes took the base design of the EQE SUV and elevated it both inside and out.
According to the press release, "Two powerful electric motors and fully variable all-wheel drive from the basis for the hallmark AMG dynamic driving experience." It will include the AMG RIDE CONTROL+ air suspension with an Adaptive Damping System, rear-axle steering, and AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL.
While the exterior, it features a black panel radiator grill with hot-stamped vertical struts in chrome, integrated Mercedes star, and AMG lettering. It also features a brand-specific badge on its hood with the AMG emblem instead of the Mercedes star, which is the first to be seen on an EV from Mercedes-AMG. Additionally, the front end comes with AMG-specific fascia painted in body color with A-wing in high-gloss black and chrome trim.
Inside the SUV, the dashboard features an instrument panel and belt lines in Space Grey MB-Tex with red topstitching. The door center panels transition from the center console into the instrument panel in black microfiber, accented by an AMG Performance steering wheel in Nappa leather with a flattened bottom, perforated grip area, and silver aluminum adjustment paddles.
It also features AMG sports pedals, AMG floor mats, and door sill panels. There is also the option to equip it with an optional MBUX curved Hyperscreen with three separate screens inside a piece of glass.
