The OnePlus 7 and 7T series users are now getting their hands on the OxygenOS 12.1 based on Android 12, two months after Google debuted the all-new Android 13.

As per the recent report by Notebook Check, the giant Chinese phone maker, OnePlus, unveiled its 7 and 7T line in 2019 in major smartphone markets, including the United States, the United Kingdom, and India.
The news outlet notes that the 7 and 7T series made a huge mark in the general smartphone market. These OnePlus mobile devices are one of the last phones to rock the pop-up selfie cameras, which ditched the punch-hole design, making its display more seamless.

But this time, OnePlus has finally dished out a new update to its 2019 flagship devices as it rolls out the OxygenOS 12.1 based on Android 12 to the 7 and 7T lineup.
According to a news story by GSM Arena, the giant phone maker has started beta testing Android on its older devices in the past few weeks. And as such, users of these phones could only get their hands on a buggy and unstable version of OxygenOS 12.1.

GSM Arena notes in its report that the beta testers of the Android 12 for the 7 and 7T series are getting the update earlier than the rest. But folks under the stable option could also get their hands on it in the next several days or a few more weeks.
