OnePlus Buds Pro 2 Specs Leak

As per the news story by XDA Developers, the upcoming OnePlus Buds Pro 2 offers a couple of upgrades from its predecessor.

The online media outlet notes that the new version of the wireless earbuds does not stay away from the design of its older sibling. But inside it, some refinements sets it apart from the first generation.

The full specs leak of the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 comes from a collaborative report by Pricebaba and the well-known leaker known as OnLeaks. It essentially shares explicit details on what we could expect from this upcoming device.

The report claims that the new OnePlus earbuds are gaining better active noise cancellation, longer battery life, and more additional upgrades.

The next-generation earbuds are reportedly sporting a 6mm driver, alongside its 11mm drivers, which the first-gen features. XDA Developers notes that it should help bolster the sound of the earphones.

Spatial Audio Reportedly Arrives on OnePlus Buds Pro 2

But besides the new driver, the leak also says that it also gains a new Bluetooth codec, the high-res LDHC 4.0. XDA explains that it means that the upcoming OnePlus Buds Pro 2 could potentially support spatial audio. Not to mention that its overall sound quality also gets better than ever.

It is worth noting that the newly-released Apple AirPods Pro 2 features spatial audio support, allowing its users to listen to a more immersive experience.

How About Noise Cancellation?

Meanwhile, according to a recent report by GSM Arena, the leak suggests that OnePlus is gearing to debut a better noise cancellation for its next-gen earbuds.

The specs leak notes that the active noise cancellation feature goes up to 45 dB. And what's more, it is also set to adapt depending on the noise around the environment.

Is the Battery Life Good Enough?

The battery life of the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 is about to last for about six hours on a single charge. But when combined with the case, it could go as far as 22 hours.

However, when users decide to use it without any ANC, it could potentially last up to roughly 38 hours. Given that, it looks like the Chinese phone maker is pretty serious about making its new earbuds last for more than a day of use.
