A report from DualShockers reveals that Dead by Daylight just announced its newest event this month called "Haunted by Daylight."
DBD's Haunted by Daylight
Behavior Interactive unveils its newest event for this upcoming Halloween, and it will be called "Haunted by Daylight," which can only be played for a limited time. The Halloween event includes new outfits, different collections, and new event tome.
To celebrate the season, Dead by Daylight will also be free-to-play for only five days. From October 27th to November 1st. Throughout the whole weekend, the festivities that the game will offer to its new gamers can be enjoyed without purchasing the game itself.
Tome 13
The overview of the event was showcased in a YouTube video where the game laid out detailed information about Haunted by Daylight. The announcement includes the game's Tome 13 called Malevolence. This will be launched on October 12th.
This will be featuring memories of the Killer Ghost Face and the survivor Mikaela Reid, as reported by EuroGamer. This will also focus on the story of a local cartoonist that parodies the Ghost Face in the local papers of the game. Exclusive mask options will be given to the players as part of the rewards.
October 13th will be the release of the new in-game event. Through this, players will be starting their mission by completing objectives for them to acquire void energy. This will be deposited in unstable rifts around the maps, as per the report.
Tricks or Treats Collection
Haunted by Daylight will also be featuring new additions to its store on October 11. The Tricks or Treats skin collection, which features several survivors of the game, will include Dwight Fairfield and Jane Romero and some of the game's killers like Hallowed Bright and The Doctor.
Improvements of the Game
Alongside the mentioned details, Dead by Daylight also announced that the game will be having an update on the same date as the release of the Tricks or Treats collection. Based on a report by HITC, the updates will include:
- Players who are or on beyond Tier 70 of the Archives will earn new Deep Rift Outfits.
- Outfits can now be viewed directly from the Rift. Related Outfits and Gamer's Charms are repositioned on the side of the Rift to make the unlocking of full outfits faster.
