Elon Musk Says Tesla Semi Production Has Begun
As per the latest report by Tech Crunch, the big boss of Tesla has confirmed that the giant automaker is now gearing up to start the deliveries of its first-ever all-electric semi truck before the year ends.
The billionaire tech entrepreneur disclosed that they have kicked off the production of the Tesla Semi after pushing it back multiple times.
Tech Crunch notes in its report that the Tesla Semi first saw the light of day in November 2017 when no less than its CEO unveiled the all-electric truck.
The online news outlet says that the EV maker planned to begin its Tesla Semi production before the end of 2019. But it has yet to kick off until today when Musk revealed that it has already begun.
The automaker has delayed the production of its all-electric semi truck to 2022. The Musk-owned firm blames various issues, including the raging supply mess and problems with the production of battery cells.

Is Pepsi Getting the First Deliveries of the Truck EV?
It is worth mentioning that various firms have already placed their orders for the Tesla Semi.
Tech Crunch reveals that it includes high-profile firms, such as the giant retailer Walmart and the beverage and snack behemoth Pepsi. The logistics juggernaut UPS and Anheuser-Busch have also placed their reservations.
However, it looks like Pepsi, which has already ordered a staggering 100 EV trucks, is getting ahead of everyone else. No less than the Tesla boss has confirmed that Pepsi is getting the first deliveries of the Semi Truck on the first day of December.
