WhatsApp is introducing a new feature to the world, and it is called "Call Link" where users may forward links that would bring others directly to a call and begin their conversation. It means that users would no longer need to get and input numbers from their friends, family, or other people to begin their conversation in the app.
It is regarded as the same feature for video conferencing apps like Google Meet or Zoom, where users only need to click on a link and join in a conversation.
WhatsApp Call Link New Feature
WhatsApp announced via Twitter that the company's latest feature is available for everyone to experience via the app, and it aims to deliver the experience directly to many. Call Link would allow users to share URLs of their calls that would redirect to their WhatsApp app on the mobile to join in calls without having the user in their contacts.
The feature works for both audio calls and video chats for all, and it is available via the app, the latest feature from Meta, giving people more options in using WhatsApp.

Google Meet, Zoom Links
Will Cathcart said that users may spread the link to different people and have them redirect to WhatsApp to join the conversation. It helps in avoiding the need to get contact information from users they wish to include in the conversation, as well as creating group chats to ring all users intended to join the call.
Additionally, it avoids the need to create more group chats for different people to join the call.
It is similar to Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and other video conferencing apps' feature that invites anyone to join.
WhatsApp Features
Meta is still developing WhatsApp for many people using the application despite the previous public boycott of the app for the previous privacy policy which allows the company to keep records of the users. Since then, the instant messaging feature brought different features for the public to utilize for their needs and further use.
Many of the features were helpful, and it makes it an application to have for one's many needs, particularly with a known message transcription feature that would turn audio into text.
Android beta users and testers also bring different features to light, with the many developments from the company for the public to use. These features are available to all for future use, but some do not see them for public release despite their beta availability.
One notable function is to hide one's active status on the app, making it unavailable for contacts to see activity from the user.
Now, WhatsApp introduced a feature that will help people access calls or converse with a certain user without needing to save their numbers on one's contacts in both the phone and app. It is similar to Zoom or Meet meeting links which invite different people to join a certain conversation with links that would bring them directly to the call.
