iPhone 14 Pro Models Remain in Higher Demand Compared to its Predecessors

But non-Pro iPhone 14 models are still weaker than their iPhone 13 versions.

The iPhone 14 Pro models reportedly remain in higher demand than the iPhone 13 Pro lineup, according to analysts. Over the past week, Apple saw a decrease in the delivery times of the next-gen handsets.

Apple Insider reports that the iPhone 14 Pro model's demand is still higher than its predecessor's. Although the Pro version of the latest variant is on a different level, its non-Pro counterpart lags behind the regular iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini, JP Morgan noted during the third week of the Apple Product Availability Tracker.

For users who want to purchase iPhone 14, you can pick up this smartphone without needing a preorder. This applies to all variants except for the iPhone 14 Plus.

You can track your iPhone 13 for three days if you want to receive it at home. In the second week, the Pro version's delivery time decreased from 35 days to 31 days, while the Pro Max could reach up to 41 days from the usual 39 days.

It should be noted that the standard iPhone 14 has shorter lead times compared to iPhone 13. The majority of the consumers prefer a more high-end version; that's why there's an extension for the wait times.

Global Lead Times of iPhone 14

When it comes to regional lead times, US buyers could expect a five-day window for the iPhone 14. For the Pro model, it could go for 31 days, while for Pro Max, it toned down to 38 days.

The customers should take note that both iPhone 14 and Pro variants can be picked up on the same day, but this won't be applicable for the Pro Max.

In the Chinese market, the lead time for the iPhone 14 Pro model could hit 32 days, whereas, for Pro Max, you can expect a 39-day interval.

The standard iPhone 14 in the region has a long waiting time, and the same-day pickup is still effective here. However, the Pro models do not share the same treatment.

Meanwhile, in Europe, the lead time in Germany has slightly increased. Apple Insider wrote in the same report that it has moderately ticked up in the United Kingdom.

Just like in the US and China, iPhone 14 can be picked up on the same day from the store, but it won't apply to both Pro and Pro Max models.

Because of the high demand for this handset, Apple expects that the iPhone 14 Pro sales could hold a 60% market share this year, according to Macrumors.

Elsewhere, the AirPods Pro 2 has a lead time of one to four days. It's still new to the market, yet some users are already experiencing an issue when using it. According to others, the second-gen AirPods Pro randomly disconnects from their devices when they play music or watch a video.
