A report from CNet reveals that a user from GTAForums leaked some of the upcoming new features of Grand Theft Auto VI. The hacker named "teapotuberhacker" posted over 100 of the game in action.
After selling 169 million copies with $6 billion in revenue for the previous game, Grand Theft Auto 6 has been anticipated for the longest time. Reports said that the official release of the game is two years away from now.
A journalist from Bloomberg named Jason Schreier confirmed the leaks and said that the videos circulating on Twitter, Reddit, and other social media platforms are all real. He also added, "This is one of the biggest leaks in video game history and a nightmare for Rockstar Games."
What's New With The Leaks?
One of the videos features Lucia, a new playable character, who was seen robbing and taking hostages in public places. Many placeholder texts were seen in the now deleted video, which means the leaked footage was still unfished.
Vice City Metro train was also revealed in the leaks. According to past reports, the new GTA 6 will be set in Miami like the GTA: Vice City in 2022.
The clips were run by RTX 3060 Ti and RTX 3080 cards and showed NPC interactions and improved UI and animations, as reported by The Verge.
Last month, Unilad reported that users from Twitch who will mention or talk about Grand Theft Auto 6 will be blocked by Rockstar Games on the platform. These were also done on Youtube, which started a year ago.
The blocking was done by redacting the streamers by saying the name of the game.

Despite problems with its staff, developers still continue the game for fans. These problems made the company "a very turbulent" state company, which tackles workforce, covid positives, and more.
Release of Grand Theft Auto 6
Rockstar is aware that fans and gamers anticipate the newest series of the game that was released in 2013. The company stated, "With every new project we embark on, our goal is always to significantly move beyond what we have previously delivered - and we are pleased to confirm that active development for the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series is well underway."
Gamers might have to wait for more as the latest date that users might want to expect is 2024. In the meantime, Grand Theft Auto 4 and Red Dead Redemptions have been shelved by Rockstar to focus on the upcoming game solely as ever.
