Apple will get a massive redesign on its new releases for the next-generation iPhone 15 lineup, and there are speculations on the next devices as early as now, despite the iPhone 14 hitting the stores earlier. It talks about the Dynamic Island shift for the notch of the next iPhones, with all featuring the new look, but not all will feature the ProMotion feature.
Apple Analyst Teases Dynamic Island for iPhone 15 Lineup
Supply chain analyst Ross Young confirmed information for the iPhone 15 lineup, and this is the shift of the device to the new display experience with the next smartphone release from Apple. Young claimed that the iPhone 15 models will all feature the new pill notch display with the Dynamic Island available for all models soon.
It means that starting from the base models, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Max, up to the higher tier versions like the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max will all have the Dynamic Island feature for their notch.
It is bidding farewell to the design which Apple first introduced with the iPhone X, the change to no more home button on the screen, and a massive notch above which housed the Face ID and Camera.
Not All iPhone 15 will have a ProMotion Display
However, Young also said that not all devices will have the ProMotion display available for all, and base models would still not feature it. The analyst said that the supply chain might not be enough for all models to feature this, and sacrifices would be made for the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Max.
The ProMotion feature is an adaptive display that shifts the screen refresh rate up to 120Hz for the device, and it will shift to its lowest down to 24Hz or 10Hz to save power.
Apple's iPhone 15
One of the earliest leaks regarding the new iPhone 15 was the change in its design, changing from the massive notch on top of the device that takes up the portion of the top part, housing the Face ID and front camera. The speculations first claimed that the new "pill notch" is coming to the iPhone 15, something which the iPhone 14 Pro models brought to the world with this latest release.
The feature which got a significant highlight from Apple is the "Dynamic Island" available to all iPhone 14 Pro models in this recent release, and the device features the reinforced notch of the company. It changes the design from its predecessors with a new look to the smartphone, as well as its many functions that add better use of the floating notch.
There are many leaks regarding the iPhone 15 which rumors of its next-gen features like the display Face ID and USB-C transition, which all remain speculations and leaks now.
Apple is planning a massive shift with the upcoming smartphone according to leakers, and this starts as early as now, with speculations already claiming the upcoming design change with the Dynamic Island for all models.
However, not all will have the ProMotion feature which is unique to higher-end trims of the smartphone when it releases.
