'Street Fighter 6' New Trailer Reveals More Characters and New Game Mode 'Battle Hub'

Street Fighter 6 will be a game within a game.

The heat is on as Street Fighter 6 is coming very soon!

Capcom has revealed more characters, including Ken, Dhalsim, Blanka, and E. Hondo, and new game modes for the upcoming Street Fighter game, as reported first by IGN.

The video game company released a new gameplay trailer for the new or returning fighters at the Tokyo Game Show presentation.

Character customization was also demonstrated, with a massive amount of options available for players to alter their appearance, including their cheek bulge, jaw length, eyelash, and many other features. Players can even upgrade their attire by visiting in-game clothes stories.

The player's primary character, an avatar they can customize, will travel the in-game world, taking on fighting masters to become the best street fighter!

All New Extreme Battle and Battle Hub

For Street Fighter 6, a few modes, including a brand-new one called Extreme Battle, were also announced. Players can select whatever rules, gimmicks, and battle prerequisites they wish to create a distinctive fighting experience suited to them, giving even more customization.

Another new feature is the Battle Hub. Players can sit down and play a game of Street Fighter within Street Fighter while moving about in what appears to be a connected online environment similar to The Tower in Destiny.

In sum, the new Street Fighter will be a game within a game.

Beta Game Coming Next Month

At the presentation, Capcom also revealed a closed beta, giving fans of Street Fighter 6 a chance to experience the game as early as next month.

Blanka, Dhalsim, Ken, and E. Honda will join the seven characters previously confirmed by Capcom. However, it is worth noting that there is still plenty of time for additional fighters to join the roster, given that Street Fighter 6 won't come out until next year.

Ryu and Chun-Li, two legendary Street Fighter characters, were among the first characters confirmed to appear, and Luke, a newcomer, also seems to be a key character in the game since he was featured during the Street Fighter 6's first announcement in February.

Jamie and Guile were also revealed for Street Fighter, and at EVO 2022, Capcom announced Kimberly's debut and Juri's return.

The game will also have a commentary feature, which means that players can choose between Jeremy "Vicious" Lopez, who will commentate in English, and Aru, who will commentate in Japanese.

In addition to these options, players will also have a choice of 13 other subtitle languages. Players will then be able to choose which language they want the subtitles in, or they can opt for the game to be played without the subtitles or commentators.

Vicious and Aru, two commentators who have been active in the Capcom Pro Tour, will now be providing real-time commentary on player matches. The commentators will also offer intriguing insights that beginners can use as learning tools for how to get better in the game.
