Pico Pro 4 to Unveil Soon?
Pico did not unveil which device is coming to its latest showcase, but according to Android Central, it may be the Pico Pro 4 VR headset that will finally see a global release. China and the EU are its current market availability, with the Pico 3 released in Europe from its latest expansion.
The Pico Pro 4 may be the company's global expansion which may rival Meta's Quest, with the former Oculus division seeing a showcase event by October.
Meta's Quest and Pico
Pico XR is a known VR hardware company that brought significant takes of its headsets which rival many known manufacturers and products in the world, including Meta, Samsung, Google, and more. However, there are only been a few releases from the company since it first released its standalone Neo headset last 2016.
The latest announcement of the company goes ahead of its competitor in the XR industry, with Meta (formerly Oculus) slating an October event, the Meta Connect 2022, for its next-generation device coming. Many speculate that this release from Meta would be the Meta Quest Pro, the rumored device under the Project Cambria codename.
These two products would clash on their releases, giving the world more choices to choose from in their consideration of a new VR device.
Speculations claim that this may be the rumored Pico Pro 4 VR headset from the company, a release long-awaited by the public which anticipates the latest hardware. However, it is unknown which device is coming, as it may be its standalone Neo series bringing its latest take on its VR release, with the next-in-line, Neo 4.
