Apple's website is currently down, not just in the United States. The issue persists elsewhere in other parts of the world as well.
The new issue on the main page of the Apple website follows the recent takedown that the Apple Store has experienced. It is to note that it was right before the Cupertino-based tech giant introduced the new iPhone 14 series, AirPods Pro 2, and the Apple Watch Series 8.
Apple's Website is Down
But this time, Apple is no longer launching new products, but the main page of its website is seemingly facing some issues globally, preventing its visitors from accessing the web page.
As per the latest news by Mac Rumors, the website of Apple initially experienced some issues.
The problem appears to have made the content looks straight from a website in the 90s with the blue hyperlinks and serif typeface. And on top of that, the photos on the main page have vanished into thin air. Well, except for the logo of Apple at the top menu.
However, Mac Rumors notes in the same report that some parts of the Apple website still work fine.
According to a recent report by 9to5 Mac, the web page still loads, albeit pretty janky at first. But after a while, the website was no longer accessible.
403 Forbidden Error
Instead, upon visiting the Apple official website, it now welcomes visitors with an error message.
The site now shows a huge "Forbidden" text above, stating that "you don't have permission to access this resource.
The text on the Apple main page also discloses that it encountered a 403 Forbidden error. It comes while the website tries "to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."
Aside from these scant details, it remains to be seen why the Apple website is experiencing these issues. Thus, it is now preventing visitors from accessing its content.
Is the Apple Online Store Affected?
While the official website of Apple is messed up, it looks like the Apple Online Store is business as usual, 9to5 Mac reports. It means that customers could still pre-order the new iPhone 14, AirPods Pro 2, and Apple Watch Ultra.
It is important to mention that a week ago, the Apple Store was down after its servers experienced some problems.
Apple decided to temporarily show a placeholder, which says "we can't wait either" as it has prevented its fans from pre-ordering its newly introduced products.
The error comes shortly after the renowned tech giant unveiled the all-new iPhone 14 lineup, which introduces the all-new iPhone 14 Plus variant, alongside the high-end iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max.
