Ubisoft revealed the latest game in its famous action-adventure narrative-driven role-playing game, and "Assassin's Creed Mirage" arrived in the world with a new character and setting for the sequel. The game promises a homage to the original story of the game, centering on the beginnings of the Assassin organization in Alamut and the creation of "The Creed."
'Assassin's Creed Mirage' is Cheaper than Existing Games
According to ComicBook Gaming, the upcoming title for 2023 that will continue the famous action-adventure franchise from Ubisoft is coming with a cheaper price tag than existing games. Most retail values of new releases from different developers now reach the $70 mark, but it will be a different story for "Assassin's Creed Mirage."
Ubisoft already opened the preorders for "Assassin's Creed Mirage," with a price of only $49.99 for the new game's standard version. Additionally, the next tier Deluxe Edition offers the title for only $59.99, coming with the Deluxe Pack and Digital Collectibles.
The Collector's Case complete with physical items and collectibles still see no preorder price as of the moment.
Still, these prices are $10 cheaper compared to other titles, with the report claiming that this new game brings a shorter game time compared to previous games in the franchise, with an expected 15 to 20 hours in total.
'Assassin's Creed Mirage': What to Expect from the New Title?
The new "Assassin's Creed Mirage aims to deliver on a new plot and setting for the game, with a young Master Assassin beginning his journey in Baghdad. Basim's new character will put gamers back to pay homage to the title's original content, centering on Alamut, the birthplace of The Creed, and is set during the beginnings of the Assassin's formation.
'Assassin's Creed' and its Franchise
The world saw a significant shift in action-adventure gaming during the introduction of "Assassin's Creed" back in 2007 where the public saw a massive focus on story-driven titles which center on parkour and other physics-defying experiences. Ubisoft's development of these games began with the "Prince of Persia," popularizing the activity.
A new game got confirmation for a 2023 release, with four other titles revealed by the Ubisoft Forward event which fans anticipated from the company which recently returned with the showcase. The latest event featured a total of six games via the "Assassin's Creed" franchise, with an expansion DLC for "AC Valhalla," the new title "AC Mirage," and four upcoming ones with no release date yet.
"Assassin's Creed Codename Red" and "Assassin's Creed Codename Hexe" are both part of the "Assassin's Creed Infinity" from Ubisoft.
Now, the world got an introduction to an upcoming game from the company, and its prices are notably lower compared to present new releases for the next-generation console games. Nevertheless, it is a perk for gamers as it will allow them to save on this new title coming next year, with the promise of an Assassin's journey on Baghdad with a new character focus.
