During the Q2 2022 earnings report of Intel, the company confirmed that it will be increasing its prices on all of the major components, which will include CPUs starting the fourth quarter of the year. But as per TechnoSports, it will now include the motherboards, which will result in including the 700-series devices in the increase.
The reason for the sudden inclusion is the chipsets that Intel motherboards are using were designed by the blue team and not a certain third party. These support the Raptor Lake 13th Generation CPUs.
The adjustment of the pricing will be important to the company's Client Computing Group (CGG). Because of this, consumers of the upcoming Raptor Lake will be expected to pay more than what they expected to secure the latest chips and motherboards.
As per Chief Financial Officer David Zinsner, there are a good set of quality products that the company will be offering soon. He added, "We also will see more pricing improvement in CCG than DCAI. They're both -- we're adjusting pricing, but the pricing is more significant in CCG. And so that also gives CCG a lift in the later part of the year."
The price increases were also done due to the rise of global inflation, even in the United States, as reported by WCCFTech. No final rates were still not given by Intel, but it is anticipated for the upcoming weeks as we enter the following quarter.

Other Affected Devices
The increase in prices was still in the talks after its announcements a few months ago, which reported that Intel will be increasing the price of its CPUs and other components by almost 20%. These will also include other components that the company is offering like Wi-Fi connectivity controllers.
Meanwhile, Elder Lake processors will not be affected by the increase as no announcements were made that it will be included. This Core i5-12400F will be available for $178.62, which offers great performance in gaming and other applications with an affordable price.
Intel and Broadcom Collaboration
Just this month, PCGamer reported that Intel and Broadcom demonstrated using Wi-FI 7 on one of its laptops. 5Gbps of speed were shown in the demonstration, which can be declared as a stage of advancement in connectivity.
Not only does it offer great speed, it also has the power to handle multiple connections simultaneously in a much more advanced way because of its 6GHz band with a wider 320MHz channel width.
The demonstration also introduces Multi-Link Operation (MLO) that assigns the different channels and frequencies for it to have much better performance despite having a lower latency and lesser interference.
