Jeep to Launch 4 EVs by 2025, 50% Fully-Electric Lineup Coming by 2030

Jeep is putting its efforts into its future electrification of vehicles, with the car brand revealing its plans to launch four electric cars by 2025 to kickstart its transition to clean energy mobility.

The company detailed its recent plans that would also center on its lineup to feature 50% electric vehicles for Jeep's United States offers by 2030.

Jeep's 4xe Day premiered a video on its YouTube channel, which kickstarted its campaign, announcing the future goals of the company for its electric mobility plans. The company said that "Freedom is Electric," and it unveiled the company's focus that reinforces its electrification goals for the future, centering on its 2025 goals of launching four electric vehicles under the brand.

According to a press release by the company, Jeep's goals include the arrival of new EVs by 2025, and it will focus on all-electric models that carry the car brand's identity and designation. Jeep is known for its rugged branding, focusing on the all-terrain capabilities of its cars like the beloved Wrangler, Gladiator, Grand Cherokee, Compass, and more.

Jeep already unveiled three BEVs coming soon, with two cars already seen on images and its recent showcase, namely the Jeep Recon and an all-new Wagoneer, a.k.a. the Wagoneer S for North America. On the other hand, Europe would have the all-electric Jeep Avenger coming next year.

Jeep's 2030 EV Mobility Plans in the US

The company also announced that by 2030, 50 percent of its North American releases would be fully electric. In the same year, Europe would see a 100 percent fully electric lineup offered by the company.

"We are designing and developing the most capable and sustainable Jeep SUVs to date, on our path to becoming the leading zero-emission SUV brand in the world," said Jeep CEO Christian Meunier.

Jeep, Stellantis' Goals on EVs

Jeep unveiled its take on its clean energy transition during the EV Day 2021 event in July of last year, and here the company revealed its "4xe" plug-in hybrid SUV. It aims to deliver on a new hybrid vehicle from the company, focusing on its renowned taste for off-road and 4x4 vehicles which can go on different terrain, both asphalt, and rocky setup.

Since the EV Day 2021 event, the company's goal is to deliver clean energy cars and have zero emissions for the company lineup for future releases. Back then, Jeep already insisted on its upcoming release of EVs by 2025, centering on electrifying known brands and variants from its lineup, but it may also add new vehicles in the process.

Jeep and Stellantis focus on delivering electric vehicles for its future releases, with the parent company centering on a massive change in Dodge's future releases.

Stellantis is catching up on massive car brands which are already on their way to transition to clean energy use, with one centering on Jeep for its all-terrain capabilities with an electric drivetrain. Jeep did not yet reveal which cars are seeing the electrification, trading in its old internal combustion engine for EV batteries to power its drive.
