Apple finally launched the new iPhone 14 lineup during its previous Far Out 2022 event on Wednesday, Sept. 7.
These next-gen iOS smartphones feature various advanced upgrades, such as Emergency SOS via satellite, Crash Detection, etc.
But, among the most useful enhancements made by Apple on the new iPhone 14 is the brighter display.
This can be seen specifically in the new iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max, which feature the latest Super Retina XDR. Now, here's why this new enhancement is a big deal.
iPhone 14 Pro's Brighter Display Allows You to See Your Screen
According to MacRumors' latest report, the new Super Retina XDR allows the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max to have brighter screens when the user is outdoors.
Their displays will have a peak brightness of 2,000 nits, two times brighter than the iPhone 13 lineup when the sunlight is too bright.
Thanks to this, you no longer have to worry about your screen becoming too dim in the glaring sun.
Aside from this, the latest Super Retina XDR also increases the peak brightness of the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max panels to 1,600 nits when watching movies or viewing HDR videos and photos.

Temporary Screen Glare Fixes to Try
Of course, many individuals may not be able to upgrade their iOS device to the new iPhone 14 because of its high price.
If you are still saving money for the new Apple smartphone, there are some things you can do so that you can still properly see your screen when outdoors.
TechWalla provided some of them:
- If the glare prevents you from seeing your iPhone's display, you can increase your brightness by visiting your device's Settings.
- You can also purchase a matte screen protector. Since this display cover is not shiny, there's a low chance that the sunlight will affect your screen.
- Using a smartphone visor is another efficient technique you can rely on to prevent sunlight glare.
In other stories, Steve Jobs' daughter disliked the new iPhone 14.
Previously, the official Apple Store went down hours before the Far Out 2022 event.
