Tesla adds more job openings for its 'Semi Service Program' for the first batch deliveries of the upcoming Tesla Semi Electric Trucks, as reported by Electrek.
2017 when the large vehicle was introduced, followed by the production that started in 2019. The shipments to the customers were delayed for years, yet Elon Musk confirmed that the trucks will be shipped to the customers by the end of the year.

Listings were posted on their website. The company states, "Our goal is to find experienced technicians looking to take their careers to the next level. They will be supporting product and service development,"
Similar to last year, the company was also looking for new employees for the service technician position that will specifically handle the Tesla Semi.
Tasks and Requirements
Technicians from these locations are needed for the Semi Service Program, which includes California's Fremont, Sacramento, Modesto, Central Valley, and Reno in Nevada. These places might also be the first stop of the deliveries.
The job listing also includes the applicants' tasks if ever they will get the job. These are collaborating with the teams from Engineering and Development for direction on product feedback, one of the people that will support the Tesla Semi Fleet, will be the one to move the cargo from one factory to another, and repair the customers fleet if needed.

Valid driver's license required and must meet qualifications to obtain a CDL
Excellent customer service skills and communication skills
Fluent in diagnosis/troubleshooting of vehicle systems
OEM training courses, ASE Certification, 608/609 certifications
Ability to innovate, solve complex issues, present new ideas and work well as part of a team
Ability to follow oral and written instructions with attention to detail
Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions
Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, and work at the specific location required
While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg.
This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
