New Tesla factories are expected to be built in Canada.
This detail was revealed after some sources familiar with the EV maker's works shared that the company scouted some lands in Ontario and Quebec.
As of writing, the giant American automaker already has multiple Gigafactories that help it meet the EV demands of its consumers.
These include Tesla Giga Shanghai, Giga Berlin, Giga Nevada, and Giga New York. Now, the carmaker might construct new manufacturing plants in Canada.
New Tesla Factories in Canada to Arrive?
According to Electrek's latest report, Tesla confirmed that it is already coordinating with the Canadian government.

The automaker is specifically asking for an accelerated permitting process for its new factory.
Now, this upcoming manufacturing plant may either new located in Ontario or Quebec.
This information was first reported by Electric Autonomous Canada, claiming that the automaker updated its federal lobbying objectives.
The arrival of a new factory in Canada has a high chance of happening, especially since the EV developer has already talked with Francois-Philippe Champagne, Canada's federal minister.
Will There Be a New Tesla Gigafactory?
As of writing, it is still unclear if the new factory in Ontario or Quebec will be a new Tesla Gigafactory.
However, the automaker has been giving hints that it will construct a new Gigafactory in Canada.
But, other experts doubt this idea, saying that the EV manufacturer may also be interested in building new battery factories.
If this is true, then the new electric cell manufacturing plant will greatly help the carmaker since it can secure local resources.
