SpaceX's Starship saw a significant development over time since the company first debuted the spacecraft that brings the stainless steel rocket to the public, now under testing for its orbital launch. It is currently 120 meters high in its present state, but Elon Musk claims that it will see a 5 to 10-meter growth in the coming years of its development.
The tech CEO also claimed that there are current changes to its booster's launch system for better use of the rockets.
SpaceX Starship Height: Elon Musk Claims Growth Over Time
The development of the world's rocket saw significant changes over time, and like all things, it started small and worked its way up to its literal growth alongside better capabilities and power. A photo from Tesla Owners Silicon Valley highlights the Starlink as the largest rocket in the present but does not have the NASA SLS in the image.
Still, the Starship is a giant rocket in the present, especially with its full-stack state as it stands above the massive Super Heavy booster rocket that completes the stainless steel vessel.
CEO and owner Elon Musk said that the Starship would eventually grow taller in the coming years, approximately five to ten meters in height for its future versions.
SpaceX Booster Changes: What Is New?
On the other hand, a Twitter user posted a question regarding the Starship's booster that uses all engines upon launch, with its other rockets focusing on the rocket's boost back to the planet. Here, Musk agreed with the user's statement and claimed that the company had already changed those for its rockets for future missions, adding other tweaks to the Booster QD and COPV segments for future use.
SpaceX Starship
SpaceX's Starship is still its best rocket development to date, and it is because the spacecraft aims to endure a long-haul journey that would bring round-trip missions and a reusable vessel. Many private companies already recognize the Starship as a vehicle that would fulfill future missions to space, already seeing growth in private customers that would use it.
The only thing left for SpaceX now is to see a significant test launch that would determine if the Starship is ready for its many missions to carry different technology to space and soon venture to Mars. Musk previously claimed that a successful orbital launch might take place sometime around one to 12 months from early August.
People would have to wait on Starship's success before any missions take place, ensuring a readily available spacecraft for its use.
Despite being under development, Elon Musk already talks about the changes that Starship is about to see in the coming time, especially as it borders on its use for different missions soon. Nevertheless, the Starship will bring the world what it is looking for, focusing on a capable rocketship for deep space missions in the future.
