California-Based company Onyx releases the ONYX LZR and LZR Pro, electric bikes for hardcore riding that was designed for dirt jumpers and street-focus riders, as per Electrek. The company is known for creating power electric mopeds with a throwback style from the past.
Physical Design
This newly released vehicle features a 6061 aluminum frame and S.W.A.T., a Smooth Weld Additive Technology, which gives the aluminum frame a much smoother touch than usual. The 100mm front suspension is adjustable which will make users comfortable, together with the ruggedness of the BMX dirt jump hubs. Because of this, this e-bike can hold up to 6 feet when kicking in a jump park.
It also features the wood grain inlay around the top-tube display that nods to ONYX's history on older bikes that were produced before which were made out of, and designed like wood. Both of the vehicles will include a frame for the batteries of the separate bikes.
How Powerful ONYX LZR and LZR Pro
Based on a report from MotoNewsToday, he company offers consumers with two different motor options as two variants of the vehicle were launched. ONYX LZR presents a 500W Dark Matter that peaks at 615W with a speed of 28 mph. Meanwhile, the ONYX LZR Pro offers 900W Bafang MC600 with a speed of 30+ mph.
Both bikes provide 30 to 70 miles of range of 48 to 120 kilometers. which will also depend on the pedal assist mode that the cyclist will select upon use. With so much power from their motor and battery, the LZR and LZR Pro weigh for almost 40 kg.

Trials and Test
These bikes were designed for users to experience the best and highest performance not only for their power, but also for its hardcore riding. Trials and tests were made with professional riders to look into details for it to be improved such as using it on dirt jumps, tough sessions, stair hops and wall riding.
Pricing
The ONYX lZR retails from $2,799 while the LZR Pro costs $3,399. Both are available for pre-order and can be purchased for a much lower price, LZR for $1,999 and LZR Pro for $2,799.
