Tesla FSD Beta 10.69: Elon Musk Reveals Two New Versions of System, Soon for Wide Release

The Tesla FSD Beta 10.69 is planning for a succession of releases in the coming week, and this got confirmation from the tech CEO, Elon Musk, focusing on the feature's progression. It also aims to bring a wide release for the public beta users in the coming weeks, particularly with beta version 10.69.2, which will be available for testers.

Elon Musk revealed via Twitter that Tesla's autonomous driving system, the FSD beta, on its current 10.69 version, will soon bring two new releases in two weeks. The first update will arrive the following week, with version 10.69.1 arriving on Monday night and the beta version 10.69.2 coming in the "week or so" after.

It is unprecedented that Musk plans to add more extensions to the current FSD beta version 10.69, as most of the company's releases usually focus on having consecutive numbers for its other releases. Nevertheless, "69" holds a massive nod to Musk's meme fondness.

The company also does these releases for a current version that only focuses on upgraded versions of itself, which Tesla already released for the beta versions before.

In previous testaments of the closed beta users of version 10.69, users have primarily positive reviews for the current version that brings more advanced features to the system.

One review from the Tesla Owners Silicon Valley demonstrates the system's capabilities to stop on "no turn on red" stoplights, showing that it recognizes open turns, particularly those unprotected ones, and follows traffic rules.

The Tesla Full-Self Driving feature is one of the most advanced driving systems in the world available for modern-day vehicles, but it is not yet available to all users of the company's famous EVs. It still is in the public beta testing phase, yet it already sees a price increase for purchasing the system starting in September for $15,000.

The system is currently on its first release version of beta 10.69, which holds a dear value to the tech CEO as he is known to post memes and has a fondness for the number "69." Despite this chance to generate a meme with Tesla's systems, it brings the upgraded feature of the FSD, one with a better use on current traffic situations on public roads.

Tesla is taking things one step at a time and aims to bring its roadworthiness with the releases it provides the public testers of the system.

Now, while most think that version 10.69 is already available for all testers, it still is under a closed beta release from the company for selected users only. Musk revealed that new versions of the system would arrive soon for all to upgrade to, with the FSD beta version 10.69.2 giving the wide public beta release version in the coming weeks.
