Is Apple's September 'Far Out' Event, which launches the all-new iPhone 14, debuting its long-time rumored augmented reality and virtual reality (AR/VR) headset?
Well, there is no official word from Apple as of writing. But some prominent analysts share their predictions about the release of its AR/VR headset.
Apple September iPhone Event: Is It Launching its AR/VR Headset?
Some might wonder whether the rumored AR/VR headset is joining the list of new Apple products.
According to a report by 9to5 Mac, well-known Apple analysts Jeff Pu and Ming-Chi Kuo initially suggested that the launch of the AR/VR headset is likely in late 2022.
However, as the supply mess persists, Kuo claims that the tech giant has already moved the launch of its AR/VR headset to a much later date, perhaps the first half of next year or in early 2023.
Apple Far Out Event: What to Expect Besides iPhone 14?
As per the latest report by The Verge, the renowned tech giant has already sent out invitations to journalists to cover its next big product launch event.
The invite said that the next product debut of Apple is taking place indoors on September 7, particularly in the Steve Jobs Theater at its headquarters in Cupertino. But at the same time, the event would also be streamed live online.
It is worth noting that the iPhone 12 launch event this September is not the first ever in-person Apple event since the COVID-19 pandemic struck the world by surprise.
In fact, the WWDC keynote event of the Cupertino giant was also in-person, but it was held outdoors.
But given the heat outside, it appears Apple is bringing its visitors indoors, wherein the cold AC air keeps the temperature cool.
iPhone 14, Apple Watch Series 8, AirPods Pro, and More
Apple is set to introduce its all-new flagship smartphone, the iPhone 14 series, which is rumored to include the standard iPhone 14, the iPhone 14 Plus or Max, iPhone 14 Pro, and the top-of-the-line iPhone 14 Pro Max.
The Verge further suggests in its report that the September event might launch the new Apple Watch Series 8 and an upgraded budget-friendly Apple Watch SE.
What's more, the iPhone 14 launch event is also likely to showcase the next-generation AirPods Pro.
The all-new Mac Pro, which Apple previously confirmed, could potentially also see the light of day. The tech giant might also squeeze in some new iPad models, perhaps sporting that new M2 chip.
