According to a report by Mashable, Swiggy collaborated with Disney+Hotstart to bring a memorable icon to the delivery app.

The viral show has been pretty impressive for the early viewers. To even pump up the trend, Swiggy decided to step up its gimmick targeting all the "House of the Dragon" enthusiasts, especially the avid fans.

The feature works just like what you see on TV. Instead of an icon of a delivery person, the symbol of a dragon will show off on the map as part of the delivery animation.

Once you start tracking your order using Swiggy, you can see that the "dragon rider" is now approaching your house to deliver your stuff. You can notice that the company has included the house of the Targaryen as your abode.

"Fire will reign, hunger will not. Our Dragon rider is on the way!" the short greeting from Swiggy reads.

According to a shared LinkedIn post of Sidharth Shakdher, the Hotstar EVP, the special part about this delivery app is how you perceive dragons on your device. Watching it fly alone will make you scream "Dracarys!" from your smartphone.

How the Latest Swiggy Gimmick Appears to Different People

Indeed, fantasizing yourself witnessing the elegant flight of a dragon before your eyes seems to be so magical. Swiggy made sure that its customers will go by the flow of the trend that is continuously going viral online.

The "House of the Dragons" might be appealing to other users, but some people have different say about Swiggy's gimmick of adding a dragon avatar on the tracking screen.

As spotted by Free Press Journal on Twitter, one person commented that he was loving Swiggy's dragon theme on its delivery app. Somehow, it gave the fans an exciting tour of Targaryen land.

Another user wrote that the Targaryen sigil pops out upon placing an order. He added that the house of the dragons is his official home.

Aside from that, another local tweeted that the promotion that Swiggy recently pulled off is cool. It's a very creative kind of promo that every "House of the Dragon" fan needs to check.

If there are people who enjoy seeing a moving dragon on the delivery map, some people said that it won't be enough to convince them to watch the new tv series.

One commenter said that he would still not watch "House of the Dragon" despite this trend.

For those unfamiliar, this series is the brainchild of George R.R. Martin, the man behind the "Fire & Blood" novel. The story mainly revolves around Targaryens and of course, the dragons.
