Twitch is now allowing its Partners and Affiliates who were previously under an exclusive streaming deal with the company to bring their content to other platforms, despite being the company's rival. The company confirmed this via its recent email to content creators, as well as its support document that removes the exclusivity deal for its streamers.
It means that Partners may now stream via rival platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and more.
Twitch Partners: No More Exclusivity Deal, Can Stream on Other Platforms
Twitch announced via its Partners Exclusivity FAQ that it is offering a more flexible setup for its content creators to bring their streams to other platforms available in the world.
It means Twitch streamers previously bound by an exclusive contract to the company can now start their YouTube, Facebook, and other websites to stream their content.
For the longest time now, Twitch kept their streamers in an exclusivity clause that would only allow them to share their content to the Amazon-owned platform and violating it will result in severe fines and a possible suspension.
It may also result in bans, depending on their offenses on the platform already.
However, it would be a different setup now as the company already allowed streaming to other platforms for its Partners and Affiliates.

Twitch: Partners May Now Access YouTube, Facebook, and MORE
According to TechCrunch, there are specific provisions for this new experience for Twitch users, and it would not allow streaming the same content on different platforms at the same time. It means that users may only bring their content to YouTube and other streaming platforms after their Twitch stream is done, and doing otherwise may result in a violation of their contracts.
Twitch and the Streaming Platform
Twitch is one of the most famous streaming platforms in the world, and it allows creators to connect with their audience and showcase their passion for everyone to see and experience as well. It gives a lot to its streamers in the past updates to the platform, particularly the expansion of its ad program for the influencers to generate additional funds.
However, the platform recently brought bad news to its content creators with the release regarding monetization cuts that would significantly reduce their payout from the company. All of Twitch's content creators see its drastic effects, particularly with the jump from 70 percent to 50 percent of payouts for the revenue they generated by pushing content to the platform.
New changes are coming to Twitch, but it does not necessarily mean that its Partners are jumping the gun on other streaming platforms regarding this latest update to their policies. It only means more opportunities for streamers and content creators on the platform to grow their audience and generate more revenue for their streams.
