Snacks between streams are now made easier for Twitch fans and gamers, as a popular American fast-food chain now takes orders in their Twitch stream.
Just recently, a report from IGN tells us that the popular American chicken dish restaurant Popeyes is now available on the streaming site. No longer do gamers and streamers who crave Popeyes have to leave the Twitch website to place their order.
Popeyes Twitch Streams Lets Users Order Food via Chat Commands
To order, users will only have to follow basic instructions told in the stream for them to grab their Popeyes delivery. The Popeyes stream will ask customers to type in their order directly on the stream chat, following particular chat commands.
These Twitch orders will then be redirected to the Popeyes website on the user's browser. Bots will be the ones to fill the user's cart on the official Popeyes ordering website. This Popeyes Twitch stream features Popeyes combo meals, Family Meals, kids Meals, and a lot more meals to choose from. Also, users can grab a classic Popeyes chicken sandwich to go with their gaming snack.
This new gimmick from Popeyes might be a little odd, but this will definitely save some time for gamers who are always on the go. It is always cool to secure some chicken nuggets for dinner while matchmaking in your favorite online game.
As seen on the Popeyes Twitch channel, they are available for orders between five and seven hours daily. The Twitch channel was last seen live 20 hours ago at the time of writing. Popeyes has been going live on Twitch for a few days now, with almost 150 user views each stream.
Viral Tiktok Triggers Popeyes to Launch Online Stream
The popular chicken sandwich restaurant went to Twitch after a TikTok video mentioning Popeyes made rounds on the Internet a few days ago. This particular Tiktok video by user typicalelliot, shows a child covering his face in shame and standing with a Popeyes menu in the background.
The user shares a story about his dad going on to buy a 70-inches flatscreen TV from a random guy on the street for $50. This TV goes on to show only a Popeyes menu. The TikTok user even went on to share that they tried to call Popeyes about their really odd find. The user adds that the Popeyes managers were also very nice in helping them with their concerns.
