Six Bethesda Classics and Some Indie Retro Titles Are Now Available on PC Game Pass

A report from Polygon shares that PC Game Pass has just added a load of classic games from legendary game franchises Wolfenstein, Quake, and Elder Scrolls. PC Game Pass subscribers now have a line-up of retro games for them to enjoy.

The new PC Game Pass additions are a throwback to trailblazing first-person shooters and role-playing games. These classics from Bethesda and Id software were added to the game pass as celebratory 'goodie bags' for QuakeCon 2022 which will be commencing today.

Catch a Handful of Vintage Bethesda and Id Software Games on PC Game Pass

On Twitter, game publisher Bethesda recently announced that six of its titles will be available on PC Game Pass today. One of these games is 'Return to Castle Wolfenstein,' which is a first-person shooter video game first released two decades ago.

Other retro games coming for the game pass are Wolfenstein 3D, Quake 4, Quake Champions, An ES Legend: Battlespire, and TES Adventures: Redguard. With the release of many new generation games in the past few years, the re-introduction of these vintage games is truly refreshing.

Also, Microsoft announced that it will be adding a bunch of related games for free. Titles The Elder Scrolls: Arena, The Elder Scrolls: Daggerfall, and Quake Champions will all be available for free on PC Game Pass.

Despite these interesting additions for the PC Game Pass, many are still wondering when will Xbox release the same games on the console and with mouse and keyboard functionality. Some gamers are still hoping that some of these games would soon get ports for Xbox as these games are only available for PC Game Pass users.

Kotaku shares that the titles The Elder Scrolls: Arena and The Elder Scrolls: Daggerfall does not seem to extend to the Xbox App Store on PC. The same report tells us that the said games are not available to be searched on the Xbox App Store, but they can be easily found in the Microsoft Store.
