Apple is not changing anything for the iPhone 14's shipment for this year, especially with the upcoming device that speculations expect to arrive by the September Fall event. It means that 90 million iPhone 14 are coming when it reveals to the world, and when its stock arrives in retail stores and the global distribution market.
Reports claim that Apple sees no changes or drops in the demand for the new smartphone.
Apple: 90M Units for the iPhone 14 Coming, Same as Predecessor's Shipment
Information on the new iPhone 14 brings news about its future availability, and there would be the same number of expected units for its supply and distribution to the world. According to Bloomberg, the Cupertino company wants 90 million units of the smartphone to arrive for everyone, for its global distribution and sales.
It is the same number as its predecessors that shipped last year, with the iPhone 13 also bringing 90 million units for all customers that want a new iPhone from the different markets it is available.
That means that Apple's stocks for its online stores, retail stores, and other retail companies would have the chance to sell the same number of iPhones for the new release.
Apple Expects No Drops in Demand for iPhone 14 Release
According to MacRumors, the reason for the same number of units is due to Apple's prediction that there would be no drops in demand for the iPhone 14. Coming from its iPhone 13 release in 2021, Apple expects the same volume of interested buyers and orders for the upcoming smartphone, despite it not yet released to the public.
Apple iPhone 14's Upcoming Features
The iPhone 14 is nearing its release date and availability to the public, and it is the next smartphone release of the company that will bring its latest feature to continue its legacy. The next Pro releases are reportedly arriving with 256GB as its base storage space for the device, with a price increase also looming by 15 percent.
Other reports claim that there would be no massive changes for the device for when it arrives, only its standard update on the camera that improves with every release.
However, Ming-Chi Kuo previously claimed that Apple faces a significant 'quality issue' with its rear camera lens face that the new iPhone 14 will suffer from on its release. There is still time for the Cupertino company to fix this mistake and avoid any future recalls or reports from owners regarding the new device.
With all that said, iPhone 14 may essentially be the iPhone 13, like its similarity to the 2020 phone release with the iPhone 12. Nevertheless, Apple is not seeing any drops in demand for the new smartphone and is still pushing for the device to arrive with the same number of units as last year, with predictions to sell it all to the world.
