Now, the billionaire is about to make their issue more intense as his lawyers accused the social media platform of hiding its bot account counters.

Now, critics claimed that if ever Twitter disclose the real names of its staff, they can serve as key witnesses in the court this coming October.

The billionaire explained that if the judge decided to require Twitter to disclose them, they would be able to determine if the social media company really conducts monetization practices.

As of writing, Twitter hasn't responded to the filing made by Musk's lawyers. However, some rumors claimed that the social media platform had already handed some of the names of its bot record custodians.

Although this is the case, many experts believe that these employees are not familiar with the data that concerns Musk.

Musk Uses Botometer To Count Twitter Bots

CNN Business recently reported that Elon Musk mentioned a tool that his legal team used to analyze the fake accounts on the Twitter online platform.

They claimed that only the bot accounts disclosed by Twitter are only the visible ones, saying that they are only 33% of the overall fake accounts.

The creator of Botometer, Kaicheng Yang, a researcher at Indiana University's Observatory on Social Media, shared his surprise.

He explained that his tool doesn't show if an account is fake or real, which is similar to the statement made by Twitter.

Previously, Elon Musk's Tesla Semi Truck launch date was revealed, with rumors claiming the electric trucks would arrive sooner.

On the other hand, Elon Musk said that the alleged Tesla gaming console is not true.
