Apple is reportedly asking its Taiwanese suppliers that there is a need to be careful in labeling products made in the country, especially regarding the China-Taiwan dispute on its territories. Labels with "Made in Taiwan" is the focus of this announcement from Apple, and it aims to go with the Chinese regulations regarding the products that come from Taiwan.
Apple Tells Suppliers to Avoid 'Made in Taiwan' Labels for Shipments
According to Nikkei Asia, there are reports that Apple advised its Taiwanese suppliers and partner companies regarding its labels on products made in the country. Particularly, it focuses on the shipments made to China that would have the "Made in Taiwan" labels printed or embedded on them, which is a massive problem now.
The report said that it should either be "Chinese Taipei" or "Taiwan, China" as it focuses on the territorial dispute between the two countries that is a massive debate among the parties.
According to Engadget, there are warnings from Apple that arrived to Taiwanese companies regarding this, and both the Cupertino company and the companies may face massive dispute for "wrong labels" coming into China.

Apple: Taiwan and China Relationships
Apple has a massive relationship with Taiwanese companies, including both suppliers and manufacturers, as it is the source of its processors that make its technology run and function for the world. TSMC is one of the most significant partners of the Cupertino giant as it makes the Silicon processors from the company, among other components.
The Cupertino company also has a relationship with China, as its focus is on connecting with several companies there to manufacture its iPad devices, focusing on assembly and mass production. However, it recently changed manufacturers from China to Vietnam, and it is because of supply chain issues that it faced with the Chinese companies.
The bottom line here is that Apple has a significant business with Taiwan and China, and the finished products it brings to the country face a dispute regarding its labels. Shipments from Taiwan to China may have significant problems when it delivers to the Asian superpower with the "wrong labels,", especially with its dispute with each other and Apple being in the middle.
