They usually appear if you already have the app version on your smartphone or tablet. For example, if you visit a Reddit post using a browser, an "Open in App" message will appear.

The alert message will explain why opening it on the actual Reddit app will offer a better experience. Of course, this won't be very pleasant for some individuals.

Now, a new Safari extension is expected to solve this problem.

These messages usually create an intrusive experience, especially if the user wants to see the content as soon as possible. Now, developer Alex Zamoshchin's new Safari extension might be able to solve this problem.

The new Banish app, available on iOS and iPadOS, is specifically designed to remove the "Open in App" pop-up messages.

However, this is not a free one as it costs $2. As of press time, this new application already has a 4.6-star rating on the official Apple App Store.

On the other hand, it also has a limitation. Although it can eliminate the "Open in App" messages, the banners recommending opening the app versions of the website will still appear.

Banish's Other Details

The new Banish app promises that it doesn't collect any user data from the user. If this is true, then iOS and iPadOS consumers have nothing to worry about.

On the other hand, it requires the iOS 15 or later versions. When it comes to Apple tablets, it needs to have the iPadOS 15 and newer versions.

It also doesn't consume much memory storage, as the new Safari extension app will only cover around 1.4 MB. If you want to see further details about this new iOS app, you can visit this link.

Meanwhile, the new TikTok Music app of ByteDance is expected to arrive and compete against Spotify.

Previously, the iOS 15 beta information revealed that there would be an always-on display feature coming to the iPhone 14 Pro.
