Tesla Europe will soon take orders for Model S and Model X EV units.
This is a big deal since the giant automaker closed its doors for new electric car orders from European residents.
Consumers were not able to purchase the popular EV models ever since Tesla stopped its production back in January 2021.
The automaker explained that the production halt was needed so that it could update its two flagship electric vehicles.
At first, the EV maker tried taking orders a few months after the production shutdown.
But, because consumers could not get their EVs, the manufacturer decided to take orders in December 2021 completely.
Tesla Europe Sells Model S, Model X After 2021 Shutdown!
According to Electrek's latest report, Tesla fans in Europe can place new orders from December until February 2023.

As of writing, the automaker is expected to work through its backlog from December 2021. After the recent orders are completed, new ones will be accepted.
This detail was confirmed after some Tesla Model S Plaid reservation holders in Europe claimed that the automaker started contacting them, as reported by Teslarati.
On the other hand, orders for the new Model S Long Range still remain unavailable. But, the giant EV maker claimed that new purchases will be accepted in 2023.
Europe's EV Sales Decline
Europe's EV sales decline has been recorded, making it the first one ever since April 2020.
JATO Dynamics, a global supplier of automotive business intelligence, announced that only 215,000 electric cars and plug-in hybrid vehicles had were registered in June.

Previously, the Tesla Mobile Connector was reportedly back after being removed by the EV maker.
On the other hand, the Tesla Giga Press suppliers are allegedly being changed.
