This detail was shared by some sources who are familiar with Musk's works. As of press time, the billionaire already has some of his companies based in Texas.

These include SpaceX and the Boring Company. Last December 2021, he decided to move his Tesla HQ from Silicon Valley to Texas as well.

Now, it seems like he is also planning to construct a private airport in the U.S. South Central region. But, what will he do with it?

As of writing, Musk hasn't confirmed this plan yet. Specific details about the exact size and location are also unclear.

Although this is the case, several sources told Austonia, a local publication site, claimed that the private airport will be around the east of Austin, near Bastrop.

They added that the new private airport would be used for private jet flights by Musk and his executives.

Elon Musk's Owned Land in Texas

As of press time, the popular tech CEO already owns thousands of acres of land in central Texas. More than 2,000 acres were already used to construct the massive Tesla Giga Texas.

Meanwhile, SpaceX and the Boring Company were also able to acquire more land in the past few years. Going back to the private airport, speculations stated that it would be larger than the Austin Executive Airport, which is around 585 acres.

But, before Musk can start building his own private airport, he still needs to get approval from the FAA.

Previously, the trial between Elon Musk and Twitter had been scheduled for Oct. 17.

On the other hand, Elon Musk reacted to Donald Trump's post.
