Mini Aceman EV Concept Design
According to a recent report by Inside EVs, the latest Mini Aceman concept is most likely to retain most of its design once it hits production.
While its look is impressively unconventional in various aspects, it does not completely stay away from the design traits of the renowned car maker.
Inside EVs notes in its report that the concept version of the Mini Aceman is roughly 2 meters wide, measuring up to 4.05 meters in length.
Meanwhile, it only stands around 1.60 meters. But despite that, it rolls on massive 20-inch wheels.
The head of Mini Design, Oliver Heilmer, says that the "EV concept makes it possible to steer the design more towards the traditional core values of MINI in line with the traditional principle of creative use of space."
The Mini Design head further notes that "this creates models that take up little space on the road."
But at the same time, the new EV crossover still offers comfort to its passengers and drivers, along with "more versatility and more emotion on the inside than ever before."
Mini dubs the design language of its all-new Aceman as "Charismatic Simplicity."
As per the latest news story by CNET, the new Mini Aceman flaunts impressive wide rear ships and fancy vertical tail lights.
Mini Aceman EV Interior Look
On top of these external design cues, the Aceman also goes unconventional for its interior. The seat cover sports patterns and colors using various fabrics. Meanwhile, the surfaces inside are filled with fabrics as well, replacing the usual leather, plastics, and chrome.
Not to mention that its steering wheel is wrapped in velvet velour, which could also be found in some parts of the interior like the door sidings.
Mini Aceman Infotainment System: What to Expect
However, the infotainment center display still follows what is seen on newer Mini vehicles, such as the Countryman and Clubman.
The Aceman features a massive circular screen, which runs the all-new Android system of the giant automaker.
Mini teased that the center display interestingly sports "moving image projections [that] can transfer the control system content to the entire dashboard, creating a unique digital experience extending right into the door panels."
