The MINI company debuted a new electric vehicle that brings the world a chance to experience the small car with a top-down, without any worries of adding pollution to the environment or carbon emissions. The MINI Cooper SE Convertible brings the "fun" in vehicles for the present, providing the world with a clean energy vehicle that offers an open-top to see the world.

MINI Cooper SE Convertible: Top-Down EV for a "Fun" Drive
According to the BMW Group's press release, a new MINI vehicle is now available for the world, with the famous "Cooper" line. Earlier, MINI brought the Cooper SE, which provides an electrified motor that relies on battery power to keep it going on the road.
They slapped a top-down roof on it for a more "fun drive."
The MINI Cooper SE Convertible allows the public to experience the open air and lets them drive a vehicle that runs on batteries for a more worry-free experience. It brings a 135 kW/184 hp electric motor that can output 142 miles of range (230 kilometers) based on the WLTP cycle that the company ran.
BMW said that it is based on the MINI Cooper SE's drivetrain and configuration that brings the "go-kart feels" of the vehicle. Its one-off model will be available for testing at the "MINI Takes the States" event.
The catch is that driving with the top stowed away will only have users cruising at low speeds, particularly 18mph on the roads. It also takes 18 seconds to fold down the rooftop.
How Much is the New MINI Cooper SE Convertible?
The 2023 MINI Convertible is available on MINI's website with a starting price of $33,000, and it will vary, says the company's website. Still, the vehicle's availability in the market remains unknown, and BMW did not go into detail about its distribution and sale in the future.
MINI Cooper and BMW's Electrification
BMW and its many subsidiary companies are known to be one of the best German luxury vehicles in the market, and it offers the world many vehicles that bring performance and style in one. One of the company's focuses now is electric vehicles, which does not shy away from the competition, with more than cars to offer.
One of the leading advancements of BMW's electrification is its motorcycle EVs, particularly with the CE 04 electric scooter that offers the tiny speeder in line with the growing market for 2-door electric motors. It brings 80 miles of range for the motorcycle, with a top speed of 75 miles per hour for zooming in the streets.
Another known EV from the BMW Group is the electric MINI Cooper, and it was initially available in the "John Cooper Works" track version that gives people the sporty and robust EV for their needs. It reimagined the famous British icon into a clean energy car, providing a chance to own a MINI without worrying much about the environment.
Now, another MINI Cooper SE is shaping up, and it is in a convertible form that would take the public on a more "fun" drive, with a chance to feel the breeze at cruising speeds.
