'No Man's Sky' Endurance Update Trailer Released: Here's What Players can Expect

The new 3.94 update is finally available for "No Man's Sky's" Endurance and is expected to give a complete overhaul for fleets and freighters. The update launched on July 20, and Hello Games has officially released a trailer to show gamers what they should be expecting.

'No Man's Sky' Gets a Huge Update

According to the story by NME, developers were describing this update as the biggest of the year, and the Endurance update is expected to completely rework the way certain freighters and fleets are operating in the game.

As explained by Sean Murray from Hello Games, "Endurance brings a complete overhaul of freighters and fleets," which would allow players to both live and work aboard their very own home in the stars along with their crew.

Here's What Players Can Expect from the New Update

Sean Murray also tweeted out a list of what gamers should expect from the new update. Here are some of the major updates to be expected from the game:

  • Freighter Overhaul

  • Improved Hanger

  • Vast Bases

  • NPC Crew

  • External Windows

  • Huge Asteroids Field

  • New Bridge

  • Teleporter

  • Exterior Walkways

  • Polestar Expedition

  • Combat Missions

  • Space Atmospherics

  • Living Frigates

As explained by the patch notes, following the launch of Endurance, freighters will be able to bustle with specialist crew members that are walking around the players' base. Engineers, technicians, and biologists display their own thoughts when patrolling, and hired frigate captains, and squadron pilots will be visiting the player's capital ship between certain deep-space excursions.

'No Man's Sky' is Expected to Launch on Nintendo Switch on October 7

Endurance is also expected to come with a new bridge that would allow users to unlock numerous improvements, which include being able to warp and teleport instantly. Murrey then details that one of the biggest changes within the game is the number of meteors that users will be able to see in space.

The new free update for "No Man's Sky" is finally live, and the full patch notes can be viewed online. Sometime earlier this year, Hello Games gave an announcement that "No Man's Sky" would be launching on October 7 on the Nintendo Switch.

Murray even confirmed the news saying he thinks that folks are going to be blown away when they will finally be able to play the game even on such a small device. Endurance is also expected to come with a brand new multiplayer mission class from nexus.

As teased by the description, "The Space Anomaly has issued a request for crews of intrepid Travellers," which include investigating the Sentinel Pillars, which are expected to be heavily guarded, and stealing the data stored within.
