The Tesla Optimus is something that the company revealed last year, and since its name was released to the public, there was no further information or announcements that came later with the AI robot. Tesla boss Elon Musk replied to an old tweet by a known YouTuber and Tesla investor, Dave Lee, regarding a 2021 thread on the Tesla Bot's teaser that brings its features for all. Here, he only said "true" or agreed with what Lee said and provided no context regarding this new tweet that the tech CEO brought for the public to see.

There may only be one explanation here, and it is the upcoming reveal of the Optimus for the public, and it aims to bring the AI robot's full glory to the world.

This tweet comes after the recent departure of Tesla's former AI head, Andrej Karpathy, who overlooks everything regarding the company's artificial intelligence projects and development.

Of course, Karpathy's absence exacts a toll on the Tesla Optimus' production and development in the present.

What to Expect from the Tesla Optimus AI Robot?

Tesla is close to successfully delivering an AI assistant to drive cars for the public via its electric vehicles, but the company is not stopping there. It is also giving the world something massive for their household and offices that would help make a person's life easier and more manageable, and it is with an AI robot to do it for them.

Tesla is Building an AI Robot for Assistance

Tesla Optimus, previously known as the "Tesla Bot," is an AI robot project of the clean energy technology company that aims to bring the public a device that may assist them in several ventures. It is a human assistance robot that uses AI to power its every move, and even though it looks like a mannequin, it aims to bring next-generation features to all.

There are no specific features or functions that Tesla or Musk revealed for the Optimus, and only said that it would do the "boring, dangerous, and repetitive things that people don't like to" accomplish."

People may not yet believe or see it coming, but there are initial tweets from insiders that the Optimus bot will get a showcase in the upcoming official event of the company, the Tesla AI Day 2022. Apart from the advancements in the company's autonomous driving features, the robot will join to bring capabilities that would soon help humans.

The Tesla Optimus's primary purpose is to assist humans in the everyday tasks and menial things to do at home and substitute for a person to do these at home or in other places. Musk may be cooking something up for the Optimus in this recent tweet, as it is something he would not reply to if there are no improvements here.
