"God of War Ragnarok's" deleted trailer suggests that it initially was supposed to share a release date with the upcoming Xbox game, "Starfield."
Sony has officially confirmed the release date of "God of War Ragnarok," confirming its debut this November 9. It comes after the Sony PlayStation game was supposed to be released way back in 2021, but got delayed.
As per a news story by ComicBook.com, the November release of the upcoming "God of War Ragnarok" is consistent with what leaks have been suggesting. Earlier reports and rumors hint that it is highly likely to see the light of day between August to September this year.
The online news outlet says it comes as a relief to the passionate fans of the God of War franchise who fear its release might be pushed back to a much later date in 2023.
Sony formally unveiled that it is finally releasing this November 9, but the now deleted trailer shows otherwise.
'God of War Ragnarok' Deleted Trailer Has a Different Release Date
But even though Sony has already taken down the initial trailer of "God of War Ragnarok" on Twitter, internet folks hastily took a screenshot of it, and are now sharing it on the social media giant for the world to see.
While Sony says in its now-deleted tweet that the "God of War Ragnarok" is launching on November 9, the trailer shows another release date for the upcoming gaming title on PlayStation.
The deleted trailer of the "God of War" sequel specifically tells its viewers that they could start playing the game on "11-11-22" or this November 11.
However, Sony has already taken down the said trailer. So it is clear by now that the release day of "God of War Ragnarok" is on November 9, instead of "11-11."
