"God of War Ragnarok" is one of the most awaited titles that Sony will release. The giant game creator said that it would reveal the official release date of its new video game on Thursday, June 30.
However, Sony decided to delay the announcement, which disappointed many fans. Cory Barlog, Sony Santa Monica's director, was the one who confirmed the sudden change of plan.
Since many gamers are not happy with the release date announcement delay, Barlog asked them to have more patience.
Now, the game director suddenly became furious after the harassment incident experienced by Sony Santa Monica employees.
'God of War Ragnarok' Devs Disappointed With Toxic Fans
According to Digital Spy's latest report, Barlog was asking the fans nicely since they also weren't expecting the release date announcement delay.
He said they would do their best to share important details about the game's release date as soon as possible, saying that they make games because of their fans.
However, his tone suddenly changed after employees of Sony Santa Monica shared their harassment experiences with "God of War Ragnarok" fans.

"Are you f***ing kidding me with this now??? I cannot believe I even have to say this but don't f***ing send d*ck pics to ANYONE on this team, or anyone in this industry for that matter," said Barlog via his official Twitter account.
Although his rant seems to be very serious, some gamers said that he should not swear since the point of the issue is already given.
In his reply, Barlog said that he only said these words out of anger and disappointment because of the fans' toxicity.
What Happened At Sony Santa Monica?
Push Square reported that Sony Santa Monica employees experienced harassment after some fans sent them NSFW images that contain the male private part.
Estelle Tigani, "God of War Ragnarok" cinematics producer, is one of the staff who received the NSFW photos. She said people sent her these images in exchange for more information about the new title.
In response to this toxicity, Tigani asked them if doing this when did send NSFW images helped in gaining more details about new video games.
