The multinational luxurious carmaker has been offering its heated car seat feature in other countries. Now, rumors claimed that BMW's advanced subscription feature is expanding in more markets, including South Korea.
Experts stated that this is a part of the company's efforts to test its adoption of micro-transactions for luxurious vehicles.
If ever this new car subscription service expands to your country and wants to try it, here are the things you need to know about the new heated seat feature.

Since 2020, the German automaker has been testing various car subscription services, such as the heated car seat enhancement.
As of writing, the U.K., Germany, South Africa, and New Zealand markets are already using the heated car seat service.
But, the United States is yet to receive the said car experience enhancement.
Rumors suggested that the feature had been launched in South Korea. This means there is a high chance that more countries will have it soon, including the U.S.
Car Subscription Features Not Really Wanted?
Based on the alleged South Korea-heated car seat expansion report, it seems like BMW is really making the most of its subscription features.
However, a previous survey conducted by Cox Automotive claimed that vehicle owners are unwilling to pay for the features their cars already have.
Based on the survey's results, around 92% of people said that the heated and cooling seat functions should already be included in the purchase price of their vehicles.
On the other hand, 87% of the participants said that automatic emergency braking should not be sold as a subscription service.

Meanwhile, reports previously stated that the new BMW XM is confirmed to arrive soon.
On the other hand, BMW vehicles without Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support are allegedly arriving.
