Nintendo announced that a "Splatoon 3" inspired Switch OLED is arriving next month. What's more is that a new Pro controller will also get the same theme.
Nintendo Switch OLED 'Splatoon 3' Edition
For "Splatoon" fans who have been living the hype since its glory on Wii U, it's now the perfect time to continue the nostalgia on another Nintendo console.
According to Polygon, a "Splatoon 3" inspired Nintendo Switch OLED model is set to hit the shelves on Aug. 26. It will be first released before the official game's launch on Sept. 9.
Speaking of the newest Switch variant, you will enjoy playing on this beautiful model with its iconic yellow ink splash. Since it's more special compared to the regular OLED model, its price will be slightly high.
The tech site reveals that it will be priced at $359.99. It's $10 pricier since what you're getting here is a polished "Splatoon 3" design on the dock.
Speaking of which, Nintendo decided to make the dock white which compliments the "Splatoon 3" aesthetic.
'Splatoon 3' Nintendo Switch Pro Controller
Additionally, you can obtain another set of Pro controllers that borrow the same motif as the Nintendo Switch OLED. You have two options if you are planning to purchase this gaming accessory.
First, you can choose the blue-and-purple edition. If you're not in the mood to go for this, you can try the yellow-and-green variant for a change.
To complete your "Splatoon 3" collection for the Switch Pro Controller, you need to prepare $74.99 to obtain it. Interestingly, you can spice it up with another gaming accessory which comes in the form of a Splatoon-inspired carrying case. This one costs $24.99.
The Pro Controller and the "Splatoon" Edition Carrying Case will be released along with the OLED console next month.
