According to VentureBeat, Klang Games is currently making some moves to be heard in the gaming industry following its successful completion of the funding for the MMO game "Seed."

The indie game studio, which is based in Berlin, says that "Seed" will be relying on a special platform from Improbable called SpatialOS. According to the official website, this allows a myriad of gamers to enter the virtual space and access simulation levels.

To have a closer look at the sandbox simulation game before its release, imagine that humans will be freely roaming a virtual world. You will simulate a more realistic interaction with the outside units, far from "The Force's'' take on fantasy games.

Having said that, Klang Games wants the players to do simulations where they can talk with other users. They could form clans or engage in conflict like any other MMO titles to date.

What's more, is that you will utilize your characters in real-time. In short, "Seed" humans or seedlings will continue their virtual lives even though you log out already. This makes it more unique, as if you have something to take care of while you're away.

As for the Series C funding, the fundraising was spearheaded by Kingsway Capital and Animoca Brands.

Aside from that, popular companies include New Life Ventures, Roosh, Anthos, Novator, AngelHub, and "Clash of Clans" maker Supercell. So far, Klang Games has collected about $80 million in funding.

According to Klang Games co-CEO Mundi Vondi, the funding for the development of "Seed" is a "really big achievement" for the whole organization.

More About 'Seed'

In a similar report, VentureBeat notes that you can customize your AI human characters or seedlings in the game. "Seed" is still in the alpha state, although its production started about six years ago.

Vondi looks forward to what the game can offer to the players in the future. Klang Games aims to establish a strong community where all people can interact and connect with one another.

To improve the company's overall workforce, Klang Games needs to hire more employees this year. The aspiring workers can help the company in improving the general infrastructure of "Seed."

It is expected that about 150 new employees will be hired by the gaming studio in the next 12 months and beyond, Vondi says.

In other news, IGN writes that "Hot Wheels Unleashed" is still one of the best racing games on PS5.
