As per Digital Chat Station, a reputable leaker from the Weibo site, Oppo is now on the move to unveil a pair of new foldable smartphones later this year.

According to News18, one of the two upcoming models has a similar design to the previous Find N. Moreover, the other one shares some resemblance with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip.

As of writing, the source notes that there's no further information about the physical feel of the phone. However, based on the leak, it will sport a clamshell-inspired design. It will operate under the "Dragonfly" codename.

Since Oppo Find N is the first foldable that was released under the Chinese brand. People could expect that its successor will be much better than that.

In this regard, the users assume that the company will retain the same specs that were once introduced to the Find N. If that's not the case, a slight improvement will occur in terms of its processor or display.

Allegedly speaking, this particular model might arrive as Oppo Find N 2. Additionally, this is believed to debut with a 120Hz display.

Oppo Find N Successor to Have Snapdragon 8+ SoC

In another story from Android Headlines earlier this week, the Oppo Find N successor might adopt the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip.

As a reference, the first model has a Snapdragon 888 SoC, so upgrading its current processor will be a huge boost for the users who want to purchase this device in the future.

So far, Samsung remains to be the most dominant company when it comes to foldable phones. However, Oppo is slowly catching up with the trend and establishing its own name in the mobile business.
