OnePlus is reportedly rebranding a high-end Oppo smartphone soon, according to a trusted leaker. Based on the report, this would hint that the Chinese smartphone maker is hinting to rename the Reno 8 Pro version soon.
OnePlus is Rebranding Oppo Reno 8
According to Gizmochina's story, Mukul Sharma, a reliable tech tipster on Twitter, posted that OnePlus is now on the move to rebrand an upcoming smartphone series.
Based on his tweet, the Shenzhen-based company will focus on renaming the Reno 8 Pro model. Following the rebranding move with Nord N20 SE, the firm will move forward to a new unit.
The change will apply to the smartphones with the model numbers CP2412 and CPH2455. As per the tipster, the IMEI listing suggests another device bearing PGMA10 (model number) will also be included in the process.
These model numbers are under the Reno 8 Pro lineup. Although it was mentioned that OnePlus would rebrand them, the company has not yet disclosed any information about when it will take place. Most likely, the phone maker could potentially launch them in late 2022.
Storage Configuration of Rebranded OPPO Handsets
In a similar report by Gizmochina, Sharma revealed that the handsets carrying CP2413 and CPH2455 would borrow the same storage configuration we previously saw from the mid-range Nord smartphones.
As such, the OPPO models could likely sport two storage variants: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage.
Apart from that, users can choose their desired colorways from the following choices: Black, White, and Warm Gold.
Meanwhile, the handset with the model number CPH2413 could possibly come in a single color option--green. However, the storage models for this unit are also the same as the previously-mentioned handsets.
OnePlus 10T Leak
Amid many rumors about the OnePlus 10T, the most interesting news suggested that it would be the best premium phone in the line. The new leak, which was spotted by Notebookcheck, indicated that the upcoming flagship would downgrade a little bit.
Previously, the rumors said that it would sport a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chip. However, it seems that the OnePlus 10T will only use Qualcomm's latest SoC.
Earlier, it was also claimed that the flagship would be a "camera-centric" device. Unfortunately, the leaker snapped this information after citing that it would only come with a 50MP main camera, 2MP macro lens, and 16MP ultra-wide camera.
Additionally, it won't come with a telephoto camera, but it will arrive with a 32MP selfie camera. Aside from that, the OnePlus10T allegedly sports 150W charging capability thanks to its 4800 mAh battery.
It will support Android 12 and Bluetooth. However, it seems that it won't adopt the wireless charging feature already present on the next-gen mobile handhelds.
Its tentative release date would be in July.
