Apple Music Student Plan

The latest promotion comes after the cheaper Student plan of Apple Music silently raised its prices in the US, the UK, and Canada last June 22.

As per a news story by Apple Insider, the Student plan now costs subscribers a monthly fee of $5.99, a one-dollar increase from its previous pricing of $4.99.

But it is worth noting that Apple spared other plans, including the standard and the Family, from the recent subscription inflation.

Apple Insider notes that the Student plans to give a cheaper subscription price to folks studying at school, whether they are getting a bachelor's degree, post-graduate degree, or other higher education courses.

The standard plan of Apple Music in the US actually costs roughly $10 per month, but the Student plan offers a discounted pricing of $5.99 monthly.

Even if the latter option is way cheaper than the original pricing, students still access the same library of songs and features of the streaming service.

Apple Music Student Plan and Free Beats Flex

But this time, Apple Music is giving its new subscribers of the Student plan option free Beats Flex.

According to a recent report by 9to5 Mac, Apple is back with its annual Back to School campaign, wherein students get tons of discounts and freebies.

The online news outlet highlights that the iPhone maker gives discounts on its products and services, giving discounts to the MacBooks, iPads, and AirPods.

Not to mention that Apple also offers a Back to School gift card, which goes as high as $150.

But on top of these generous offerings, Apple is treating new subscribers of the Spotify-rival, its music streaming service.

First-time subscribers of the Apple Music Student plan are getting a free pair of Beats Flex earphones.

But there are some catches before Apple gives away these brand-new pairs of Beats earphones.

How to Get Free Beats Flex

9to5 Mac notes in its report that the iPhone maker is only giving away these pair of bad boys after users pay the subscription fee for the first month. And as such, the month-one free trial does not count.

Therefore, if a Student plan user cancels the subscription after the free trial, there are no free Beats Flex.
