Iran's new stealth missile boat was spotted via Google Earth. The new warship is specifically located on the island of Qesh, at the Qeshm Madkandaloo Shipbuilding Cooperative Co. shipyard.
For those unfamiliar with stealth boats, these ships are the water-based counterparts of the advanced stealth jets.
However, experts are still unsure if this is really a stealth boat since it is complete. Although this is the case, the boat's shape and visible parts are more than enough to conclude what type of defense water vessel it is.
Iran's New Stealth Missile Boat Spotted
According to USNI News' latest report, the new missile boat's design is similar to a catamaran, a multi-hulled watercraft with two equal-sized parallel hulls.

Regarding the actual size, experts said that it is around 150 meters long and 14 meters wide. As of writing, the new stealth missile boat still lacks a helipad since it is unfinished.
On the other hand, the new vessel also has two cut-outs located in the aft deck, suggesting that Iran will integrate pop-up missile tubes.
Aside from these details, Iran's new warship was also spotted near another boat called the Shahid Soleimani-class missile corvette.
Because of this, researchers claimed that it is likely being constructed by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
How Iran's New Stealth Might Work
Marine Insight reported that stealth missile boats are similar to stealth fighter jets. This means that they are faster than other warship models.
However, experts concluded that Iran's new stealth boat is stealthier compared to other existing models. They further explained that the design of the new warship was developed for increased radar invisibility.
This means that other missile boats can't detect it once it is moving at high speeds. Although this is the case, the boat can still be seen with the naked eye if you are close enough.
