"iOS 16 enhances iPhone with all‑new personalization features, deeper intelligence, and seamless ways to communicate and share," said the giant tech firm via its official iOS 16 Preview post.
The new iOS 6 update for the popular CarPlay service can also benefit gas stations, allowing them to receive payments from drivers via their car's infotainment center.

These include access to toll road information, as well as apps that can get towing assistance. Of course, the new contactless fuel payment is the most intriguing one.
HF Sinclair, a gas station chain in the United States, said that it plans to use the new feature of the iOS 16 CarPlay. The fuel company added that it would greatly help them since the new enhancement can assist drivers so they can reach HF Sinclair gas stations easily.
Aside from the new contactless gas payment function, drivers can take advantage of other benefits of the iOS 16 CarPlay update.
