Apple is looking at releasing its 2022 MacBook Air in the coming weeks, and it will feature the famous M2 Silicon chip that the public has asked for a long time. The device is finally coming to the market, despite the speculations that it would come later this fall, as part of Apple's annual events during the last quarter of the year.
Apple MacBook Air 2022 M2: Releases by July 15, Says Source
According to a report by MacRumors, a retail source revealed that the Cupertino company plans to release the Apple MacBook Air M2 this July 15, which is coming in two weeks for the public. This new development is massive as people expected the MacBook Air to see the Fall event that Apple has been accustomed to for the past years.
The new laptop computer's sale would begin by July 15, but there is no information as to when it would deliver for users that have it for online sale. If this source is accurate, users purchasing the new MacBook Air M2 via physical appearances in retail locations would have their new computers in their hands.
Is Switching to the 2022 MacBook Air M2 Worth It?
Apple is now focusing its feature on the 2022 MacBook Air with the M2 chip, and its only rival in the market is its predecessor, the M1 MacBook Air, which arrived last 2020. Users with the M1 MacBook Air may only see a slight change in the experience but see a better design that features the newly-added ports and MagSafe charger that dedicates itself to the device.
Reports of the M2 being slower compared to old chips may affect the new computer, and the most worthy upgrade now comes from the Intel MacBook Air.
MacBook Air 2022 and the M2
One of the centers of talk for the Worldwide Developer's Conference last early June is the MacBook Air refresh for 2022. It sports the long-awaited Silicon chip from the Cupertino company. Day 1 of the event gave the world the many offers from Apple for most of its devices, and the most significant of all is the 2022 MacBook Air.
After the M2 got revelations to the public, reports poured in regarding the significance of the processor for computers, and there were certain expectations it met when it got announced. However, there are now talks regarding an M2 Pro chipset that is coming to the computers, which would give a better power than its predecessor, with TSMC to manufacture.
Now, the M2 MacBook Air is seeing mixed reviews on its end, and it is because of the company's offers to the world regarding the features it brings for everyone. There are massive comparisons between the M2 and the M1 Pro that arrived for the 14-inch MacBook Pro, saying that the previous one is better.
The world would have to see it for themselves once the MacBook Air M2 arrives in a few weeks.
