Twitter is Down! Users Only See a Poodle When Clicking a Site

Twitter is currently down for some users. Following the outage on the social media app, other people could only see a picture of a poodle on a chair.

Once they click the page showing an image of a white dog, they are only redirected to the homepage. The same thing happens: the same poodle will appear for the second time.

Twitter is Down Once Again

For the past years, the Twitter platform has been experiencing outages. Some incidents were found to be glitched, while system errors caused others.

Recently, users complained that they could not access the site. IMore confirms that this is true since there's a trend in DownDetector that suggests that there is an outage on Twitter.

As of writing, the popular outage detector recorded 50 cases of downtime on the microblogging site. The company continues to investigate the potential reason behind the problem.

Twitter Users See a Dog on the Homepage

In another story from The Independent, some Twitter users have been seeing a viral image of a white poodle sitting on a chair. Upon clicking the site, the affected users will be directed to the error page.

The source says that "Nothing to see here" keeps on popping once a user clicks Twitter.

"Looks like this page doesn't exist. Here's a picture of a poodle sitting in a chair for your trouble," the error page reads.

Somehow, it's fascinating to know why this dog comes out of nowhere. It's the same thing that appears when the Amazon website is down.

Previously, the "fail whale" was the featured animal in the error site whenever a user stumbled upon the outage on Twitter.

How to Bypass this Twitter Outage

Fortunately, there are some ways that you can do to solve the Twitter downtime. Apparently, there are third-party apps that you can use to access the site.

For instance, you can use Tweetbot to open the social media app on your iPhone. The mobile version appears to have no problem opening the application.

Again, The Independent reports that Safari users tend to experience the hassle of accessing the desktop version of the app. Other than Tweetbot, you can try Tweetdeck to see if it works for you.

In other news, Tech Times reported that Twitter can be used as an educational tool. According to the tech publication, you can utilize the platform as a research platform for topics that students could look for.

Additionally, Twitter can also serve as a place for extending learning. Students could potentially gather important data upon browsing it.

That's not the only thing that you can do with Twitter when it comes to educational purposes. Educators can use it as an assignment reminder so students won't forget to submit their projects at the right time.
